Juggling can be enormously beneficial for general well-being and hand-eye coordination, leaving a great sense of achievement. At the end of this workshop the participants have the option to create and perform in their very own circus show. Their confidence increases through good teamwork, learning new skills and expressing ideas. It is well documented that this kind of activity promotes activity on both sides of the brain and can be beneficial in many ways both to body and mind.
Course Details
We believe that circus is something to participate in rather than simply to watch (possibly with the exception of our fire-shows!). Our classes offer a wide range of skills from juggling, staff spinning, poi, diabolos and devil sticks to stilt-walking, pedalos and unicycling. On our team we also have a professional tight-rope artist and stilt-walking guru. Circus is an excellent medium to work with, as there is always something new and exciting to learn. The workshops work very well both indoors and out, and we have entertained small and large groups alike in various settings, from ages 3 - 103!
